2025 Research Symposium
Our 2025 symposium featured three keynote speakers, Jeanette Wilkins (Peterborough Regional Health Centre), Dr. Jean-Paul Desaulniers (Ontario Tech University), and Dr. Janice Strap (Ontario Tech University), as well as 15 talks from graduate and undergraduate students at Trent University. Prizes for Best Presentation were awarded to Gillian Ekins from the Department of Psychology, Isabelle Decorso from the Environmental & Life Sciences Graduate Program, and Noah Fiorucci from the Department of Biology. 

Scientific program

We acknowledge the generous financial support provided by the Canadian Society for Molecular Biosciences, Trent University School of Graduate Studies, and New England Biolabs.

Our 2024 symposium featured two keynote speakers, Dr. Ian Patterson (Brock University) and Dr. Rene Harrison (University of Toronto Scarborough), as well as 14 talks from graduate and undergraduate students at Trent University. Prizes for Best Talk were awarded to Isabelle Decorso from the Environmental & Life Sciences Graduate Program, Lexi Thivierge from the Department of Psychology, and Michael Capperauld from the Department of Biology.

Prizes for Best Talk were awarded to Mark Seegobin and Vedanti Ghatwala from the Environmental & Life Sciences Graduate Program, and Faith Tucker from the Department of Psychology.
